Todd Suddleson and Charlene Echols Prevail in Texas Asbestos Case
In April 2005, partners Todd Suddleson and Charlene Echols received a defense verdict on behalf of Kaiser Gypsum in the case of Geneva Hornsby in Dallas County, Texas. Mrs. Hornsby claimed that her lung cancer was caused by exposure to asbestos from her husband's clothing. She also was a cigarette smoker. Her husband was employed as a drywaller and ceiling tile installer from 1964 to 1993 and he testified to working with various brands of joint compound including Kaiser Gypsum joint compound.
